I fell in love with photography when I was 12. Way back then we made our first pin hole camera in middle school. After watching the photos appear in the developer, I was hooked! I kept a camera with me on and off throughout the 80's and 90's and then in 1998 I was introduced to the world of glamour, boudoir . Although I truly love shooting these, I also do work in product photography, promotional work and often shoot for various charities around the valley.
People often ask where I get some of the creative ideas from. I study the work of people like Steven Diet Goedde, Eric Kroll, Ken Marcus, Helmut Newton, Joel Peter Witkin, Richard Avedon, Irving Klaw, Bunny Yeager, and Suze Randall. While I would never attempt to copy their work, it all lends a creative motivation to succeed in the small niche of photography that I have grown to love.
I shoot with both film, and digital. The Canon 40D, and the Canon 7D and their various array of lenses are the prime choice for most of my work. For film, I have started shooting some medium format with a Yashica 24, and for 35mm I still shoot with my trusty Canon EOS3. I love to work in our home studio or on location. I don't care as long as we are doing something creative! I am dead serious about my art and put a lot of work into producing the best possible images.
I am located in wonderful Las Vegas, Nevada but am available to travel anywhere in the country with advanced notice.
